HAENONG CO., LTD.
Haenong Food Company was founded in 2004, with a single-minded focus on the natural wonders of the sea. It produces kimbap laver, kimbugak laver chips, seasoned laver, roasted laver powder, seasoned laver powder, and dried laver.
Its Naju factory (built in 2012, expanded in 2018) is equipped with cold storage production facilities and is capable of producing 616 tons of kimbap laver per year. Its Makpo Marine Campus (completed in 2022) has a production capacity of 3 million units of dried laver per year.
Secondary processing is carried out at its Naju Innovation Campus, making it an efficient and competitive one-stop process. From primary raw seaweed to the seasoning production, to delivery logistics at its Incheon distribution centre, all stages are managed through an integrated quality system.
Haenong operates on a simple belief that “it is a good product only when consumers are satisfied”, and is committed to excellent quality and reasonable prices. Its dried laver revenue continues to grow at an average annual rate of 15%.
